The United States of America is one of the most diverse countries in the world, differentiated by its democracy, freedom, and opportunities. Diverse, social perspectives are needed to solve some of the most complex challenges that are currently facing our country, such as education, healthcare, the economy, and immigration.
In order for America to remain competitive in an increasingly global economy, creativity from diverse, social perspectives must be encouraged. Just as a brainstorming session can help formulate a number of excellent ideas for any number of problems, so do diverse perspectives. However, it’s important to note that these diverse perspectives are of no good unless they are included in mainstream politics. Political action should be taken so that specific ideas or movements are considered and implemented.
Promoting diverse social perspectives is extremely healthy for this country, and the inclusion of diverse perspectives will go a long way in helping America reach its full potential as a nation.
